I was very pleased with the laces as they fit my boots well and are durable. Exactly what I was looking for, thank youIt is a shoelace.After reading thru the reviews I was a bit sceptical but took a chance. And it was worth it. Replaced the original laces on my boots and they have held up well these 3 months, like my originals. I double tuck a knot on the second row and pull up and out HARD. Then hook eyelets, ANOTHER double tuck knot, same pull, and a classic bow. They hold really well and feel real strong. The blame for the wrong item arriving is partly shared between Amazon, who actually fulfilled the order & the manufacturer who have failed to mark the size on the package in a clear manner. I can't make out the size either, so it wasn't just the Amazon operative & I'd unwrapped one pair before I realised their error.I had these laces for a year and 3 months. They are supposed to be some of the best available and other sites label this brand as 'unbreakable'. They are not - the outer sheath is too weak and once it comes away, tying them is a nightmare. A week after the outer sheath failed I've noticed wear on the inner thread, so I'm replacing them. I don't know what the definition of a life-time is - it's certainly not mine, it's definitely not the boots, so it must be the life-time... of... the laces?!Nowhere near as good as advertised.Perfect laces for Timberland boots.Very pleased with this product.Nice to do up laces at beginning of day and undo at end of day.(not having to to my laces up 20 times a day)Best I’ve bought
