Rieker Women's Comfortable Ankle Boots - Stylish & Lightweight for Walking, Work & Casual Outfits

These boots fit comfortably and are true to size leaving plenty of space for toes. The material is soft with no scratchy parts. The design is unique and I like the colours. Normally I can't find much to fault Rieker as a brand but these are a bit of an exception. I found the soles of the boots to be very thin and hardly cushioned at all. After walking for an hour around a shopping centre I found that the soles of my feet were becoming quite tender. I've somewhat reconciled this by adding some thick insoles to compensate for the thinness but I shouldn't have to do this. I'm a bit disappointed because Rieker soles are normally so well cushioned. I wouldn't recommend this particular design to others simply because of the said issue.Having to pay almost £50 for a pair of Rieker on special.. I expect them to at least be comfortable nevermind the ANTI-STRESS part!The insoles are flat& hard ..No cushion what so ever.. after having them on for half an hour, my feetwere sooo sore that I had to find a shoe store to get a cushioned insole .. mind you that didn't help much either ...had to get the insoles a bit thin so that the boot itself would not go tight on me.. so, the pain still stayed ..It's really a shame .. such a lovely pair of boots with such a big fault ..Apparently, these are not real leather but they certainly look like leather so I'm not complaining although at this price I think they could have been.But, I LOVE THEM!!They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever had and I love the quirky style.They're not terrible warm for this winter, but will be wonderful in the warmer months and I do have another pair of fur lined Rieker for the colder days.I actually wear these around the house as they are more practical than slippers and are just as comfy!Fit is about right. I am a 6-61/2 with a wide foot and this fit perfectly.I love the zip which means I don't have to keep undoing the laces.I would definitely buy these again (will) although they seem to be wearing well and I imagine they will last a long time yet.Good value and RecommendedI bought these for myself for Christmas. I wore them for a party and on my grand-daughter's party a week later I noticed how scuffed they were already. They are a lovely light, easily wearable shoe but the quality is horrendous. Sad to say but I am sending them back. :-(Loved these boots as soon as i saw them as they were a bit different. I'm usually a size 5 but I ordered a size 6 as some reviews said they are narrow and i have wide feet. Size 6 fit perfectly. The boots are really comfortable and look great.
