I purchased these for a trip to Yosemite and Sequoia in early April. I hiked about 30 miles in them in 4 days over slippery, watery rocks, snow, and ice. They are very light and comfortable hiking shoes. They did feel a little tight in the toe area when I first wore them (my feet are a bit wider there), but they broke in after the first day and the tightness was gone after that. No blisters either. They are also very functional. I was surprised how well they handled the wet and water logged rocks. They gripped those rocks like a champ. I never slipped once… unlike my boyfriend. They were pretty good on snow too, but definitely needed the ice spikes for the icy trails. The water resistance was also tested and approved. The shoes also remained surprisingly clean considering the trails I was hiking. Overall, I’m very happy with these hiking shoes.
